Dreamhost sub4 email cluster issues not reported on status site

waiting on chat support and received the following message just now:

Pretty sure I’m experiencing the same issue. All emails sent to any of our forwarding groups are getting rejected with the error:
host mx1.sub4.homie.mail.dreamhost.com[64.90.62.163]
said: 554 5.4.0 Error: too many hops (in reply to end of DATA command)

Submitted a ticket and waiting on a response.
