DreamHost and Google Sites

I have built a website using Google Sites. I have my domain registered with DreamHost. What is the best way to link the two to make my site go “live”. I see an option for Google Hosted and Redirection. What is the difference in the end user expeirence between the two? What about the function difference from maintaining the site?

Did you get anywhere with this?

on Google sites they say:

From Google Sites – (I’m a non-Google apps web site with Google Sites)

  1. Changing your CNAME record
    Set the CNAME destination to the following address: ghs.google.com
    I have gone into dreamhost and made this change.

I have also deleted the quickstart holding page
