Dream Compute Small Bug - Admin Panel

Just noticed that if you are logged into dreamhost(e.g. https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi), and you click on “Dream Compute” in the left side bar, the “Login Details -> Tenant ID” does not update to the latest password if you change it.

It seems like it is showing the original “Tenant ID”.

Very small item, but I thought I’d mention it.

In the DreamHost control panel, the “Login Details” button shows the User ID (the username used to login to dashboard.dreamcompute.com), and the tenant ID which is the UUID of the tenant (think of it like the a project or something under which all your instances/networks/etc are related). You will likely not use the tenant ID on its own unless you work with the API a lot. The tenant ID won’t change unless you close and re-open DreamCompute (meaning the tenant was destroyed, and a new one created), and it is unrelated to the password.

If you have further questions please let me know.
