DNS: Different ports using same IP

#1

I’ve created 2 new DNS records, both A records using the same IP (mine). But I need these two to work with different ports! Ex.:

When accessing blabla.spawdin.net it’s only able with the port :1234, when trying port :80 should not work. And koakoa.spawdin.net should only work with port :80

I’m I clear? =P
Hope so…

Code: “SPW95” - $95 off

As I understand it, this is not a DNS issue, you would need to configure the Webserver application at your server to handle the traffic on port 1234 and port 80 correctly.

Is there any reason you need the two sub-domains on different ports? If you are using Apache, it can easily handle multiple hostnames on the same port using ‘Name-based Virtual Hosts’.
