DH members to occasionally post here, but it’s not really something you can count on as an official way to contact them. You’d probably be most likely to see Dallas or Michael, if anyone.
Note that it could take awhile to get back to you because it’s not a priority compared to handling current customer issues, spam, etc.
If you mean that you’re not sure if the content was legal or not, that usually means it’s not.
If you mean you’re not sure of what the content was, because the sites were abandoned, then that probably means the active users were using your sites for doing bad stuff–knowing that you would lose your account, rather than them losing their own.
Either of those cases would be hard to fight, if one applies to you, but it can’t hurt to explain yourself and see if they’ll give you another chance.
If it’s the second one, here’s a tip: If you’re going to abandon sites–password protect the entire domain and block all traffic. Abandonment = outdated vulnerable scripts = exploits that will go unnoticed by you = email from DH letting you know your account is done.
In that case, someone could have turned your site into a download site and uploaded all of their pirated stuff to share with the world.
