Disable zend optimizer with htaccess

apps

#1

Hi all. I am among those with an app that has broken under 5.2.1 and the new zend. I have run across references to disabling zend optimizer (causing the seg fault) using .htaccess, but I can find no instructions. Can anyone tell me how this is possible? Thanks,

I’m unaware of being able to change any PHP settings via .htaccess in such regards.
You could easily follow the wiki instructions however, if you don’t mind working in the shell, to use your own custom PHP.ini file. http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/PHP.ini

Thanks. I am fine working in the shell, but I could not find the specific magic that I need to do to turn off zend. --c

I’m quite sure you just need to throw in this setting under the [Zend] settings section:
