Does the DH dreamhost interface provide anything (aside from convenience) other than writing a config file to /dh/mongrel/servers/foo.example.net–foo.example.net.conf
I suppose I wouldn’t have known to put the group ID or host IP in the file, but other than that, it looks like it could be added to project repository for easier maintenance (outside the DH user interface for mongrel clusters).
Just curious what others are doing.
update it appears managing clusters isn’t even an option without doing it manually via the DH interface:
$ mongrel_rails cluster::configure -p 3000 -e production -a 127.0.0.1 -N 3
** Ruby version is not up-to-date; loading cgi_multipart_eof_fix
ERROR RUNNING ‘cluster::configure’: Plugin /cluster::configure does not exist in category /commands
Use help command to get help
Perhaps mongrel clustering isn’t supported.
