When I followed the KBase/Web Panel instructions to password-protect a certain sub-directory of my domain, a dialogue box pops up with the message “Enter username for Custom at www.mydomain.com”. Without making things too complicated, is there a way to customize the word “Custom” by writing on the .htaccess file? Thanks
Yes. You can edit your .htaccess file. I think the line is RealmName “Custom” and change whatever is in the quotationmarks towhat you want.
Thanks wil. It’s AuthName, actually. I just forgot that I should look into the .htaccess file of that sub-directory instead of just from the root. (Silly!) Got it done, thanks a lot.
