I’m new to DreamHost, I’m currently on the monthly Shared Unlimited plan to test it out. I currently host 6 domains with about 30 emails accounts. Today I was told that DreamHost does not offer any contact or calendar apps that will keep all my contact and calendar in the cloud. What do you guys do for this? I’m trying to get away from Gmail completely. Please advise.

If they’re a requirement I just set up an (external) VPS mailserver and implement nextcloud to manage contact & calendar endpoints for clients.
This works for Exchange, ActiveSync, CardDAV or CalDAV clients across any number of domains.
A $5/month (or less!) VPS can handle dozens of mail accounts without breaking a sweat
