I’m sorry if this question has already been asked, but I’m having trouble connecting my Google Apps to be hosted on DreamHost.
I clicked the “set your domain up with Google” link on my DreamHost Panel > Domains > Manage Domains and created a new domain.
I thought I set up the domain correctly, because I see it on my Panel (www.mavcommgroup.net) but for some reason an error comes up when I try to access it with my browser.
A folder for my domain shows up in my FTP program, however, even if I upload pages to my site via FTP, I cannot open it in the browser. I get the message “404. That’s an error. The requested URL / was not found on this server. That’s all we know.”
All in all, I’m trying to host the domain I made through Google on my DreamHost account, but can’t seem to get them to connect.
Thanks in advance for your help.[hr]
So it seems that when I registered my domain through Google, it did it through GoDaddy.
Does that mean that GoDaddy is my host?
If so, is there any way I can transfer my domain to DreamHost?
