Concrete fails to upgrade

apps

#1

I installed the default 1 click install for Concrete 5 a few weeks ago. I don’t recall if there was an update after the install, but I think I recall letting it automatically update after the install successfully. However now I’m trying to let it update from 5.7.5.8 to 5.7.5.9 & it’s failing with the following error message:

An unexpected error occurred.
Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40989469 bytes)

Any ideas on how to get it to update?

Got this reply from them a while back when I opened up a ticket. It worked for me.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting DreamHost support!

I have checked over that error and it seems you are running out of PHP
memory.

In order to change the PHP memory_limit variable you will need to create
a custom PHP.ini phprc file by following the steps on the wiki page
listed below:

Any custom php.ini configurations will need to be done through this phprc
file.

Please use the recommended settings within the wiki and your update
should go through without any issues.

If you need further assistance with this, please let me know and we can
assist you further!

Thanks!
