Comodo SSL DCV email not appearing


I recently bought a Comodo SSL Certificate but it needs validation. However when i push the “resend DCV” button i am presented a list of email addresses to which i cannot connect. (For example : or )

How do i send the validation to my email ? Thank you.

Did you buy the certificate through DreamHost? You should have at least one of those email addresses, as an alias of an address you actually monitor. If none of those aliases exist, create one of them first. The steps are noted on the documentation:

After chatting live with support, I managed to validate the certificate by selecting "" email from the DCV list.

Please change this behaviour since it is very counter-intuitive.
