Change password for mysql user

#1

Neither the phpmyadmin interface or the “control panel->goodies->mysql->[user]->edit” interface has an option for changing a mysql user’s password.

I was able to do this the hard way by dropping and re-adding the user. But surely I’m overlooking somthing obvious. Is this doable through the web interface?

(The “control panel->users” menu doesn’t seem to have any option that applies either)

Thanks,

Don’t worry, you’re not overlooking anything - this option is indeed unavailable from the web panel. I have absolutely no reason why, but for some reason it never got added.

In the meantime, simply email support with your requested new password and they’ll be happy to change it for you.
