Cgi problem

#1

Hi, I’m trying to set up a vanilla forum on my site (http://vanillaforums.org/) and I’ve run into a problem with one of the plugins (http://vanillaforums.org/addon/playmp3links-plugin) which automatically detects links to mp3 files and inserts a clickable flash player. Other people have tested it and it works for them, and it even works for me if I manually embed the flash player. However, something is not allowing the link to be detected as an mp3, and as a result is not wrapping it in the span.

Is there a cgi error log somewhere I could look at? I have also been told it could have something to do with the forum’s htaccess file. I’ve included it in this post in case anyone with knowledge of such things could look at it and tell me if there is an obvious problem.

the forum is located at forum.mydomain.com/

this is the contents of the htaccess file:

Original

If you modify this file then change the above line to: # Modified

RewriteEngine On # Certain hosts may require the following line. # If vanilla is in a subfolder then you need to specify it after the /. # (ex. You put Vanilla in /forum so change the next line to: RewriteBase /forum) # RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php\?p=$1 [QSA,L]

Thanks!
