Cgi-bin

#1

hey everyone,
first off, i am a new member of dreamhost and so far am absolutely loving it. i am paying significantly less than i was before and getting much, much more.

so my problem – i am trying to set up awstats and am very confused by the set up instructions on the wiki. i searched the web and found this page (http://support.netfirms.com/article.php?id=679) which is a little easier for me to understand.

problem is, i do not have a cgi-bin, nor do i know how to set one up. any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

You don’t need to put scripts in a cgi-bin here. You can run the scripts from anywhere. If you’re just used to it that way, you could create a directory called cgi-bin and put them in there.
