Certificate error

#1

After installing Explorer 7 I am getting a certificate warning when I try to access my webmail,

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website’s address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

Is this a concern?

Thanks.

This is because you’re trying to use a url with your domain, but we’re using a shared ssl certificate for the mail accounts. It’s signed by www.dreamhost.com, because it would be too costly, and probably unneccessary to have one for every domain.

Click the “examine certificate” button and just verify that it’s registered to dreamhost. No worries.
