Can't send email. Can only receive. Support unresponsive

For going on 2 days now I can only receive emails. I can’t send them. Live chat support gave me a bot message saying email servers were down and it was a known issue. I logged a ticket but I can neither update that ticket nor get status through live chat. I have not heard back from support at all. What is going on? Is anyone else having this problem?
