Can't delete

Hi,
I can’t delete from one domain. It says I have no permissions. I even deleted the domain in order re install it later, but still won’t delete. I has disappeared from my control panel, but not when I try to FTP. Any ideas? I need to upload a new site, but I can’t delete the old site or even add thing to the site.

the permissions that affect the directory are those for the directory it’s contained in, not the permissions of the directory you are trying to delete.

rm -rf it from a shell prompt.
