Can't Delete a Folder

#1

I decided to give Concrete5 a try, then quickly decided it wasn’t for me. So I tried to delete the folder named “Concrete” from my domain.

Well, everything went away except a nest of folders, and here’s what my FTP error says when I try to delete the folder:

550 /mywebsitename.com/concrete/libraries/3rdparty/securimage/database: Directory not empty.

But the database directory is empty. How can I clear things out? Granted, I don’t think it’s hurting anything, but I’m new (still just a dreamling) and I want to keep my room tidy here inside the DH house.

Most likely there are hidden files in that directory. Like a .htaccess file. On Unix/Linux hidden files start with a dot (.) your ftp application must have a way to see them.

$ cd ~/mywebsitename.com/
$ rm -rf *

Be very careful. It will wipe everything without stopping to confirm.

Found a way to show the .htaccess file deep inside the right click pop-up tree. Thank you much ottodv.

[/quote]Didn’t try your scary looking option bobocat, the other method worked. But I appreciate the assistance.
