Can't change upload max filesize

#1

Hi, I downloaded and installed SXi’s Easy Auto Copy Script to create a custom php.ini file so I can change the max file upload size to 30M. Installing the script changed the max size from 7M to 20M. But now if I edit the /home/user/example.com/cgi-bin/php.ini file and change upload_max_filesize from 20M to 30M nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

post_max_size = n
upload_max_filesize = n

Where n is in MegaBytes :wink:

I tried
post_max_size = 30
and
post_max_size = 30M

Neither one makes a difference. I’m editing this file:
/home/user/hostname.com/cgi-bin/php.ini
Is that right? Is there anything else I need to do to reload that file? I’ve done this sort of thing a dozen times, just not with DreamHost. The phpinfo says it’s reading this file but it doesn’t seem to work.

Try this:

That got it. I should have taken the time to figure out how it actually works. :slight_smile:
Thanks!
