Can Country Blacklists be applied to web server?

#1

My htaccess file is many lines long to filter out problems I have with bots from China and Brazil. Is there a way to configure the deny/allow to work with a blacklist instead of an IP address range? e.g. cn.countries.nerd.dk and br.countries.nerd.dk

Not on a shared host.

Have you tried something like http://www.blockacountry.com/ to get lists?

whoa - that’s sweet. That script generated an htaccess file which has taken me months to do by hand. Thanks so much for that link.

Oh yeh, great that http://www.blockacountry.com/
I have a question thou, where on the server do I upload it. I tried in the domain name and outside, but neither seem to work. I tried blocking out my own country, without allowing my own IP to see if it worked, but with no succes
