Billing problem

I am a new user. I signed up a couple of weeks ago and paid by credit card, verified by my last statement. However, DreamHost says I still owe them $119.40, and thusly my account is disabled. Also, any link I click on from the ‘panel’ to the tune of “host another domain” or “register another domain” does nothing (just reloads the page). It says I currently have no domains hosted or registered (also incorrect). DreamHost customer support has been silent so far. If no one has any ideas it looks like I’ll have to dispute it with my credit card company. Anyone ever had this happen?

Your best action now would be to contact billing@dreamhost.com to clear up this apparent misunderstanding. Offer to provide proof of payment and ask them to re-enable your site. I’m sure they’re as interested in clearing this up as you are.
