I’m not a webpage expert. I want to play a short (5 seconds) MP3 when the webpage is opened. Yeah, I know it’s annoying. But that’s actually my intent.

Would this be called streaming? I just want it to play once. Any advice? Or can you point me to an example, so I can copy their method?

if you just want to play a short (5 seconds) MP3, you don’t really need streaming because the file size is small. You can simply embed the mp3 to your web page.
