Apache/php Tmp directory

software development

#1

I was looking at my web pages and I realized some sessions and some gzip caching where stored in the servers /tmp directory rather than mine as I expected for security.

How do I configure the .htaccess files and my php.ini files to ensure that my temp directories are local?

I don’t see any neccessary to change the temp folder. But the temp folder for session is always in the server. You can point to another folder in the server but not local
