First of all...I am NOT A SPAMMER, but I have an announcement list question...
I want to set up an announcement-only list for my local YMCA. When people sign up for the program, they put their email address on the registration forms and agree to receive emails. If they don't put their email address, they don't get any emails.
Anyway, I want to be able to manage this list with my DH account. When I go into the announcement-list feature, there doesn't seem to be a way to add email addresses to the list without sending out a confirmation email. Many of the people who have requested to be on the list are fairly computer-illiterate, and wouldn't know what to do with the subscription confirmation email.
Is there a way that I can just add them to the list? Alternatively, is there a way to set up an announce-only Mailman list?
