I have set up an announcement list. Some users are reporting that they never get the…

This page should say to check their email for a confirmation link.”

web page or the confirmation email. Several users have successfully subscribed including myself, so it is working for some. One of the users reporting this uses the same service provider that I have, and I have successfully signed up an address with the same provider.

Can anyone suggest some troubleshooting tips?

The first thing that comes to mind, and something that is often overlooked, is local spam filtering. It is possible that some users’ email clients are squirreling the message away into a spam folder (or just deleting it, depending upon how the client is configured).
