Acct not approved, no response from CS

I’ve been a Dreamhost customer for a week now and so far my experience has been lousy. I signed up for my account, paid and everything and yet when I go in (7 days later) to access my account I’m still getting this message:

This account is currently pending approval.

If you’ve already made payment your account should be activated within one business day.

That might be a simple glitch in the matrix but to compound matters I sent a msg to customer support two days ago and have not heard anything back. That’s simply not acceptable. Please let me know how this can be resolved immediately. Thanks.
