Accessing phpmyadmin/mysql while only hosting DNS

#1

I have a domain that I removed the hosting from and now it’s pointed it to a Tumblr. I also use subdomains.mydomain.com from this and would like to continue using my phpmyadmin located at mysql.mydomain.com.

The problem is when I try to access phpmyadmin from mysql.mydomain.com, it forwards to mydomain.com/md_phpmyadmin/mysql.mydomain.com/ which directs to the tumblr, giving a 404 error.

Is there any way to regain access to this domain?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you have an active hosting plan, you can add a .dreamhosters.com sub-domain on your Manage Domains page, and set whatever.dreamhosters.com to be fully hosted. Then, go to your MySQL Databases page, and create a hostname using the .dreamhosters (so mysql.whatever.dreamhosters.com) and you can use this to access your databases.
