I’m using RapidSVN (Windows GUI to access subversion) via a standard http url, in my case its:
Where I’ve configured svn.domainname.com to point to my svn repository in my home directory.
When I try and connect I get the error message:
Error while performing action: PROPFIND request failed on “/” PROPFIND of “/”: 405 Method not allowed (http://svn.domainname.com)
Anyone have any ideas? Is this a know issue on dreamhost?
Did you configure svn.domainname.com in Goodies>Subversion in the control panel?

I did that and I’m still getting the error
Hmm. I have to admit to not having much experience with RapidSVN and http access. I use TortoiseSVN and ssh+svn to access my repository.
guess I’ll just keep it simple and use svn+ssh.
Just to check one more thing, you’re not behind a proxy, are you?
nope. but it’s actually just started working, I created a new project in goodies -> subversion and it seems all good now.
Great news! Thanks for the update. I’m glad everything worked out!
