as seiler said, promo codes does not give you extra server space or bandwith. You can get some discounts when you first sign up an account.

I've seen some notices in DH which warns users about porn-related contents. It seems DH is senstitive with poren-related contents. I can't find the web pages any more. But I'll suggest you to check with DH support first.

Your account's space and bandwith grows every week so I wouldn't worry about that.
What is important is cpu usage. Be sure that the script is well coded, and light on the server.
