FTP Timeout
Is there a way to change the default timeout for the ftp.
I have a friend trying to upload a large file on dial-up and the ftp drops him before it finishes. Thoughts? |

FTP Timeout
We have the timeout set quite high already. I think it may actually be as high as the server allows. Large files and dial-up connections just don't really work I'm afraid!

FTP Timeout
After what period does he get dropped? I've made single-file uploads lasting 2.5 hours with no timeout. That's on broadband, but dial-up makes no difference TMK.

The timeout is set as high as it will go and is around 18 hours. It's exactly 65535 seconds.
