Hola all!

It is with great regret that I'm announcing that I am leaving the company, effective today (I gave my notice 2 weeks ago, and have received the Honchos' blessings).

I've accepted a job offer to head operations in Boca Raton, Florida for Alan Ralsky, a highly respected email marketing industry figure. I will be coordinating email blasts, forming partnerships with offshore providers, and providing valuable input/guidance to legislators in order to further our disparate business interests.

As you can probably guess, I'm extremely excited about the possibilities, and am eager to make use of everything I've learned here in my new role.

Things will be delayed a bit as I will be flying out next week for a quick trip to meet with some of our colleagues in Nigeria, but over the next month or so Glenna and I will be selling our house and moving to a nice community in Boca Raton. That is when my new life officially begins, and I can't wait.

Never fear! I've already made arrangements to have Will take over for my Customer Relations duties, a task that I feel he will handle with splendor (I know that Will would have killed to have my new job - don't worry, though, I made Alan promise not to steal him away from NDN!).

Anyhow, it has been a great 5 years, and I want to wish you all the best of luck with New Dream Network. I know you'll all miss me, but no worries - I'll be sure to email you all on a very regular basis.

LOL! This is the 52nd April Fool's joke I heard today, esp. when your new job is with Alan Ralsky, which basically gives it away. :D

EDIT: Not to mention Nigeria ...

Okay, I confess. Even with the reference to "highly respected email marketing industry figure" and "offshore providers" and "email blasts," I got suckered momentarily, until the Nigeria reference tipped me over into the realization that I got suckered. Second April 1 prank that took me in, dammit. Good one.

We're all happy that you're staying around, but if you really feel like it, we can probably find somebody who could teach you Nigerian.
