Drop-shipping is when you sell products to people from a supplier but that supplier is the one that actually ships the products to your customers instead of having to get the items shipped to you and then you ship to them. A lot of people who have their own business actually use drop-shipping (and I'm one of them). It is easier as you do not have to deal with having physical inventory if you don't want to and if you want to sell primarily online instead of having a physical store location. Usually there is some sort of membership fee that you would pay yearly. It just depends on the drop-shipper though and if they have a large catalog of products or are selling a few specialty items.

Can anyone please help me explain what exactly is this 'drop shipping'? Hope some users put relevant information about it. :)
